Thank you for taking the time to learn about the CITIZENS OF THE WORLD choir and a further thank you to you for tapping onto our SUPPORT page.
COTW is run on a voluntary basis and all of our successes to date have been facilitated by the kind donations of our supporters. We were lucky to receive some generous financial support at the launch of our project and have even secured Arts Council Funding to for our second and third season but in order to continue our work we still need your help - running a choir and community project is not cheap!
£10 a month could pay for refugee members to catch a train to our rehearsal and become part of our community. For many, this has reinvigorated their lives and this involves JUST a train ticket!
£30 a month could pay for the rehearsal room hire cost for one rehearsal (we have this at a 70% discount) but we need access to a piano. Our musicians work for free which is already amazing value, but we have rehearsal overheads.
£50 a month could pay for four hours of admin work, from accounting (we are a not for profit organisation), concert planning and management.
£350 a month could pay for one rehearsal outright making you a super fan of our choir!
A one-off donation of £950 would allow us to reach out to more members and change more peoples lives, as well as pay for concert opportunities in world-leading UK festivals.
The project is run by a team of dedicated and professional volunteers and consequently every single penny you donate goes directly into supporting the choir's immediate running costs. Every donation, large and small, is helping to keep this dream a reality.
If you have pennies or pounds to spare and would like to support the CITIZENS OF THE WORLD Choir then, please, don't hesitate to click on the DONATE button above!
With many thanks and with love,
(Please note: the fundraising platform, Chuffed, takes no commission on donations.)
