DATE PASSED INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE DISAPPEARED BENEFIT CONCERT ST JAMES'S CHURCH, LONDON W1J 9LL 03.09.17 7.45pm - 9pm The CITIZENS OF THE WORLD CHOIR will be singing at the LOST AT SEA AND LOST ON LAND concert and will be making a special guest appearance with acclaimed jazz singer Ian Shaw. Please do buy a ticket and show your support for the brilliant work the Red Cross do.

More than just a choir singing, we are proud to support the Safe Passage campaign to re-open the Dubs Amendment and protest the treatment of child refugees. These are issues incredibly close to our collective heart, and we're honoured to be asked to sing at this demonstration.

You're nothing without your friends, and the choir has few friends as fantastic as Ian Shaw.
The twice awarded BBC Jazz vocalist of the year is a passionate patron of the choir, as well as numerous other excellent causes, and regularly invites members to sing with him. This time, to celebrate his new album, the choir is accompanying him on the gospel soul of Shine Sister Shine off the album, as well as some of our own songs. Its sure to be a roof raiser of a show, and we're so excited to sing there!

COTW is thrilled to have been invited to perform at TedX, Covent Garden! On Saturday November 4th TedX Covent Garden Women will be hosting a whole day of talks and appearances on the theme of "BRIDGES" and we are honoured that COTW has been asked to sing - we are big advocates of building bridges after all!
DATE PASSED ILLUMINATE ROTHERHITHE FESTIVAL 2017 TALES AND SONGS OF MIGRATION SANDS FILMS THEATRE, ST MARYCHURCH STREET 24.11.17 8PM -
The home of the Mayflower is hosting its annual festival, the themes of which include migration! Hosted at the beautiful Sands Theatre, the festival has asked the choir to convey its stories of migration, which we'll be doing with four solo performances and four songs from our repertoire.

CITIZENS OF THE WORLD Choir will be hosting their very own winter extravaganzas and you are invited! With winter themed music from around the world, special guests and, of course, a rousing performance from the choir this will be an event that is sure to warm your heart during the chilly season.
We will be holding a performance from 7:30pm at Mycenae House and we would love to see you all there!

Side by Side with Refugees was set up two years ago initially focused on delivering aid and support to refugees in the Calais 'Jungle'. Since the demolition of the camp this time last year we have continued to work to raise awareness of the ongoing crisis and provide relief to displaced migrants in northern France.
The evening promises to be full of delights, including stand-up comedy, music and spoken word. It is a fundraising event, so please support this excellent organisation with us. Tickets can be bought here
